Mindex – Creator of futuristic sound, hailing from Moscow, presents his third release on the Australian Psy Bass label-flagship Merkaba Music. As in all previous Mindex works “ReFocused” delivers compositions with scrupulous treatment of nuances, expressive melodies, layered monstrous bass and syncopated rhythms. The constant thirst for experimentation and the discovery of new audio Universes inspired Slava to ReFocus himself, pushing the boundaries and concepts of modern Electronica.

Eight ultimately psychedelic bass stories impregnated with the mood of the Middle East, mysticism, and shamanic journeys are glued together with a tight grid of infinite sonic events, which will not let the listener’s attention fade for even for a second. Full spectrum fluctuations, the variety of microtonal movements and melodic phrases have the intention of exfoliating consciousness. They transport the listener into a state of hypnotic bliss, allowing the experience of simultaneously staying in several dimensions at once. The remix of a track of Altai’s musical healers Vena Portae is also featured on the album. “Original composition” is a eardrum caressing Ethno Ambient soundscape, which Mindex could not indifferently pass up.
