Imprint is a collection of chunky organic techno tunes from Weka Tek. This new project comes directly out of the swamps and to your ears from Kiwi genre fluid producer Brendan Evans.

The Weka is a feisty, resourceful and fearless native flightless bird that lives deep in the forests and bush of Aotearoa.

Imprint explores Evans relationship to the forests and ecosystems of New Zealand. Finding inspiration in the ancient forests and wetlands of the South Island of Aotearoa.
Imprint is sprinkled with raw field recordings from the bush and festivals around NZ, lush dubby soundscapes, fat bass lines and psychedelic sound design to transport the listener deep into New Zealand’s wilderness.
