Goosebumpz

Starting out as a keen young DJ at some of the filthiest forest parties to have ever gone down on the east coast of Australia, Goosebumpz quickly became known for his eclectic assortment of original bass heavy, broken beat productions. A handful of well received releases coupled with regular appearances at reputable boutique Australian festivals such as Earth Frequency, Wide Open Space and Island Vibe sparked interest on the international circuit and in 2012, Goosebumpz took his party antics on tour overseas, headlining indoor shows throughout Canada, rocking stages and art cars at Burning Man, and slamming dancefloors at festivals such as Shambhala Music Festival, Motion Notion, Astral Harvest and Bass Coast.
After three busy years playing music around Australia and abroad, Goosebumpz returned home in 2015 to take a break from touring, giving himself space to widen his horizons in music and life. Since then, performance has taken a back seat to completing a postgraduate science degree and working as an acoustic consultant. Even so, in that time Goosebumpz has made select appearances at a handful of festivals including Splendour In The Grass and Rainbow Serpent Festival, supported heavyweight live acts such as KOAN Sound and Opiuo, and independently released two EPs with tracks from both receiving airtime on triple j, Australia’s popular youth network. He also found the time to join forces with ex triple j breakfast presenters Matt & Alex after creating the “Pack Er’ Up Boys” remix, which was featured on an ARIA nominated compilation and culminated in a live performance with the pair on their final show in 2016.
These days, Goosebumpz is focussing on a classy new blend of fierce, funky Glitch Hop, gangster Midtempo Bass, and pretty, emotive Downtempo beats.
