Afek

AFEK is a project based on combinations and contradictions. Afek Ben Yishay, a talented music-producer and pianist from Israel, paves his own unique path and weaves his strong life experiences and emotions into his music.

The AFEK project symbolically uses contrasting themes such as organic vs mechanical and synthetic sounds combined with acoustic instruments and field recordings. The exploration of unique spaces and emotive language along with a creative take on original sound design are all an essential part of his sonic signature. Musically he is drawn to many diverse genres such as Psy-Dub, Downtempo, Psy-Bass and Drum & Bass. All while sticking to an earthy and rooted psychedelic experience.
