Lu Tze

Lu Tze is an electronic music project by Rodrigo Pereira, who first fell in love with music production as a teen in the early 90’s after getting hold of a program called Scream Tracker 3.

In 1998, at the age of 18, he became one of the co-founders of the psychedelic event organizers Quest4Goa in Portugal, and in 1999 co-founded the chill-out Dj collective Divine Mission, which was present in the line-up of Boom Festival 2000.

In early 2001 he moved to the UK, and soon after became a Dj and core member of the crew at the Psychedelic Dream Temple (aka PsyDMT), based in Camden Town, London. For over a decade afterwards, his Dj sets surprised and moved the crowds in alternative areas of countless squat parties, clubs and festivals in the UK, blending music styles such as psychill, electro, progressive breaks, dubstep and progressive psytrance.

Lu Tze is the creative blossoming of such blend, bringing forth alternative, syncopated, progressive and psychedelic music.
