“Birds of Bliss” is the latest musical offering from the Colorado based artist Cualli. The majority of the material from the album was written in the tropics of Costa Rica after a nearly three month stay in the Amazon jungle of northern Peru. The seed of the album began to grow when the tune for the song which would later become “Dragon” was etched into Aaron’s consciousness during a ceremony. “Dragon” was the first song out of the eight that comprise the album to be written and is the track that set the tone and tempo for the rest to follow. Patience and fine craftsmanship run through this work marking Cualli’s ripest collection of songs to date.
